Where Does My Donation Go?
The Equal Opportunity Community Initiative has proudly adopted the 100% model, wherein 100% of the donations we receive go directly to our programming and activities.
We know that when you make a donation, you do it to help children in need, not to cover administrative costs. As an organization of volunteers, we ensure that your full donation goes directly to those who need it the most.
It’s not always the easiest way to go about it, but we strongly believe it’s the ethical and responsible way to connect 100% of your donation to those who will benefit from it the most.
Product Donations
In-kind product donations are crucial to the support we receive.
Both local businesses and large corporations recognize the importance of giving back to the communities they serve. This allows them to connect with community leaders, build relationships, and help those in need.
Our most common donations include food, new clothing, toys & learning materials to support the essential needs of disadvantaged youth; computers for our skills training programs; and funding to cultural and sporting events to bring communities together.
We welcome creative and unique partnerships that align with our mission—if you have ideas, we’d love to hear them!
By investing in our communities, our partners, sponsors, and volunteers make a lasting impact on the lives of disadvantaged children and youth.
